I was born at Fort
Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas in 1967. My family moved to Lomita, CA a year or so later when my father's forced duty
in the Army was up.
We moved to Buena Park, home of Knott's
Berry Farm, in Orange
County, CA in 1974.
I graduated from Buena
Park High School in 1985. I then went to the University
of California at Los Angeles. I graduated from UCLA in 1991. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied
Mathematics with a Specialization in Computing.
I met my wife Lisa in June 1992, and we were
married in January 1994.
I worked at Southwestern
University School of Law until January 1998 when I left there for CSULA.
